Do you know what is meant by hand linking in the field of sock making? As socks and knee highs are knitted in a circular knitting method, practically like an open tube, the final step in the manufacturing process is known as linking. Here the "sock tube" is closed in the toe area. If this seam is made by hand, it is called hand-linking. The knitted fabric is picked up stitch by stitch and sewn together so finely that the seam is hardly noticeable, thus achieving maximum wearing comfort. By the way, almost all of our socks and knee highs are hand-linked by our Italian sock master.
Knitted from combed cotton certified by OEKO-TEX® according to STANDARD 100, these midnight blue socks are soft, durable and environmentally friendly!
