The polo shirt
An ideal alternative to T-shirt and shirt
Polo shirts are elegant and sporty at the same time and go with any outfit, which makes them an ideal alternative to T-shirt and shirt. In summer it is enough to combine the polo shirt with light pants or shorts. If you don't want to give up your sporty look in autumn and winter, you can easily wear the polo shirt with the minimalist mandarin collar under a sweater or a shirt jacket. Whether for a casually elegant office look, a night out with friends or a family outing on the weekend, the polo shirt is clearly one of those garments that you can combine endlessly.
A must-have for every season
A year after we launched our first polo shirt with a mandarin collar, we're back with a new version - or rather three: peacock green, navy blue and black. The intense colors are easy to combine and can be integrated into autumnal outfits with dark chinos, jeans or with a suit as well as next spring/summer with light pants.

An airy piqué knit
What makes a polo shirt authentic is not so much the cut, but the fabric. And the authentic knit of the polo shirt is the cotton piqué. Robust but airy and therefore very comfortable, the Portuguese knit of our polo shirt is made of 100% organic cotton.
This popular plant fiber unfortunately comes with the major drawback of being quite water-intensive. Chosen from organic cultivation, this not only reduces water consumption, but also guarantees cultivation without pesticides, insecticides or chemical fertilizers and without GMO.

A modern collar
One of the biggest problems with polo shirts is the collar. The regular wash and lack of ironing often results in an ill-fitting collar with the tips rolled up.
Our solution: the mandarin collar. This minimalist stand-up collar not only avoids the floppy look of a classic polo shirt collar, but also adds a modern touch making it an elevated basic.

A semi-fitted cut
Modern and figure-hugging, what does that mean? The polo shirt has a slightly fitted cut to avoid the potato sack effect, but at the same time it is not uncomfortably tight on the body. The sleeves fall loosely without leaving too much room. After all, we haven't all been blessed with Popeye's biceps.
Made in Europe
Our polo shirts are made by close neighbours in Portugal. The workmanship and finishing are certainly up to the standard of our shirts, for a garment that lasts. The seams are neat, regular and strong. The buttons are now made of eco-responsible vegetable resin with a mother-of-pearl effect, but are still cross-stitched and tail-mounted.
