The Nines' Take on the Work Jacket
New season → new version. Over the years, the overshirt has become a true staple in the male wardrobe. And you’ve clearly caught on, as it’s now one of our bestsellers. For Spring 2024, we wanted to test something even more impactful. A layering piece with some serious bite, yet still elegant and versatile. So, we’ve created for you, the reimagined work jacket.
Comfort + practicality = our priority
Our work jacket takes inspiration from our previous summer overshirts. The straight cut allows you to wear the jacket open or closed as you like, with a relaxed fit that’s not too oversized. The two slanted side pockets, with the right one featuring a hidden zip closure, keep your belongings secure while you stroll around hands in pockets. Perfect!

By now, you know us—we always strive to design clothes that are as timeless and durable as possible. With its mid-weight fabric at 310 g/m², multiple pockets, and classic collar, our work jacket adapts to any occasion... and any style. More of a t-shirt, jeans, sneakers kind of person? A unique layering piece thanks to garment dyeing
Like all our summer overshirts, our work jacket features garment-dyed fabric. This means the finished jacket is dipped directly into special vats filled with a mix of natural pigments. The color can’t be controlled 100%, resulting in slight variations on seams or pocket edges. It’s this technique that gives your outfit a lot of character and the slightly vintage look we love so much.
