A fitted two-button jacket made in a semi-traditional way in a worsted wool from Vitale Barberis Canonico, with tapered trousers and a meticulous finish. This suit has all it takes to become your new ally in everyday life.
By default, the pants size associated with the suit jacket is obtained by doing this calculation: Jacket Size minus 8.
For example, if you choose a jacket size 48, the matching pants will be in size 40.
The pants have unfinished hems, ready to be adjusted to the desired length.
However, we suggest you to use mismatching jacket / pants sizes. If you wish it, do not hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org

This suit is made from a 100% pure wool fabric, to obtain deep and authentic colours.
The origins of the Prince of Wales pattern go back to the time of the Scottish nobility who used it at the time to distinguish themselves from the tartan that was reserved for the clans. Long associated with the fields of sport and relaxation among the English upper classes, it is now back on the front of the stage and brings a refined and formal side to your outfit.
The Prince of Wales pattern of this suit offers the ideal combination of elegance and modernity. It easily goes with pinstripes or a houndstooth pattern.
For this suit we have chosen a twill cloth from the oldest Italian house of fabrics: Vitale Barberis Canonico, recognised for the quality of its weaving. This fabric is from the Perennianl range, which offers a range adaptable to all seasons. Indeed, its linear weight of 270g / m² makes it ideal for use in mid-season.
Twill fabrics are soft and lightweight fabrics that perfectly match the uses of a suit. This type of weave permits many variations and can form a wide variety of patterns depending on the variations of interlacing warps and wefts.
The suit is made in a semi-traditional way, with a technique that combines traditional stabiliser fabric with a heat-sealing process. The interfacing with stabilizer fabric is the method for attaching together the fabric and the lining. The traditional technique is to set horsehair between the two thicknesses, as the latter has the particular ability to regain its shape more easily while being very resistant.
Thus the top of the jacket, since it is subject to more stresses, is made in the traditional manner, whereas the lower part of the jacket and the lapels, which come under less everyday stress, are made by the thermosealing process.
The properties of horsehair in particular make it a valuable ally for travel way!
The Nines suit offers a modern and tailored fit that suits most body types.
The jacket has two buttons, shoulders with very little padding for a natural look, and lapels with a width of 6 cm that can equally well suit both a classic width tie and a slim tie. It has two flap pockets, one welt pocket as the breast pocket, and two vents in the back for comfort. The sleeves are fitted with 4-button buttonholes, the first of which can be opened.
The tapered trousers are fitted but without being slim, which makes this cut equally suited to a more formal or more casual setting depending on what you combine it with.
Motivated by the desire to ensure optimal quality, we have chosen to have this suit made in Portugal in a prestigious workshop working for major men's fashion houses.
Similarly, the finishes of our suit are studied in every detail. Thus The Nines suits have a very nice blue liner that's very comfortable to wear, and seams lined in orange - the colours of The Nines - with four inside pockets. The orange wool collar-guard subtly recalls the Nines colours also.
The assembly of the jacket is done using the technique of the AMF stitch, executed by the machine of the same name, which is slower than a conventional machine and is thus reminiscent of handmade stitches done by a tailor.
To offer you a suit worthy of the best at a reasonable price, this is the challenge that we set ourselves. The Nines suit combines
