This plain suit is made from a 100% pure wool fabric, to obtain deep and authentic colours.
Essential in a man's wardrobe, the navy blue suit is your gateway to the world of suits. Since blue shades are easily matched with your suit to make a harmonious outfit, feel free to use colours or patterns in your accessories, especially complementary colours such as orange in this case, to add contrast to the overall look of your outfit.
A plain suit is ideal for everyday use. Since it is sober, it allows you to be bold in trying more eccentric choices for the other parts of your outfit like the shirt, tie or cufflinks.
For this suit we have chosen a twill cloth from the oldest Italian house of fabrics: Vitale Barberis Canonico, recognised for the quality of its weaving. This fabric is from the Perennianl range, which offers a range adaptable to all seasons. Indeed, its linear weight of 270g / m_ makes it ideal for use in mid-season.
Twill fabrics are soft and lightweight fabrics that perfectly match the uses of a suit. This type of weave permits many variations and can form a wide variety of patterns depending on the variations of interlacing warps and wefts.
The suit is made in a semi-traditional way, with a technique that combines traditional stabiliser fabric with a heat-sealing process. The interfacing with stabilizer fabric is the method for attaching together the fabric and the lining. The traditional technique is to set horsehair between the two thicknesses, as the latter has the particular ability to regain its shape more easily while being very resistant.
Thus the top of the jacket, since it is subject to more stresses, is made in the traditional manner, whereas the lower part of the jacket and the lapels, which come under less everyday stress, are made by the thermosealing process.
The properties of horsehair in particular make it a valuable ally for travel way!
The Nines suit vest, made of worsted, is available in three different colours that you can choose to match with your suit or not. Its adjustment band at the back allows you to adjust the vest to your chest so it fits your shape perfectly.
The 3-piece suit is very dressy and refined. As with a suit jacket, you never close the bottom button of the vest.
Motivated by the desire to ensure optimal quality, we have chosen to have this suit made in Portugal in a prestigious workshop working for major men's fashion houses.
Similarly, the finishes of our suit are studied in every detail. Thus The Nines suits have a very nice blue liner that's very comfortable to wear, and seams lined in orange Ð the colours of The Nines Ð with four inside pockets. The orange wool collar-guard subtly recalls the Nines colours also.
The assembly of the jacket is done using the technique of the AMF stitch, executed by the machine of the same name, which is slower than a conventional machine and is thus reminiscent of handmade stitches done by a tailor.
To offer you a suit worthy of the best at a reasonable price, this is the challenge that we set ourselves. The Nines suit combines
