At The Nines, we’ve always had a soft spot for well-made classics: those that stand the test of time and trends. And for the end of 2024, we wanted to spice things up a bit. So, we called on one of the rising stars of men's ready-to-wear: Alex Cormac. His signature? A subtle blend of sartorialism, workwear, and striking details.
A Collaboration That Just Makes Sense
When we met Alex three years ago, it instantly clicked. Our shared vision of elegance felt like a no-brainer and quickly inspired us to create joint projects. And then, one fine day, we decided to take the leap.

Without a second thought, we embarked on this thrilling new adventure. After several months of work, we are proud to present the The Nines x Alex Cormac capsule collection. A line of clothing that breathes elegance, enhanced by that little vintage twist that makes all the difference. From generous collars to golden buttons, each piece reinvents classic menswear with that extra soul.
“For a long time, I have been passionate about timeless elegance and quality craftsmanship. That's why this collaboration with The Nines represents a unique opportunity for me to offer sartorial and workwear pieces that combine style and functionality. Each shirt, blazer, and vest is designed to provide both comfort and sophistication, while reflecting my love for well-crafted details and noble materials. I wanted to create clothes that could adapt to a modern lifestyle while respecting the codes of the classic wardrobe. This project is the result of a genuine reflection on everyday elegance.”

Elegance without compromise
This collection is, above all, a story of expertise. Inspired by the sartorial universe, Alex drew from the elegance of past decades to extract the very essence of modern chic. Each piece has been designed to flatter all body types, with precise cuts and impeccable finishes. But it's not about retro for the sake of retro! Every detail has been reworked to meet the demands of today’s man, blending heritage, modernity, and practicality.
THE SHIRTS
The shirts from the The Nines x Alex Cormac capsule collection push the boundaries of elegance to their peak. For a bolder style, the round and pin collars are more generous, redesigned with Alex Cormac following sartorial codes. These are sophisticated pieces, certainly, but without losing their versatility. Thanks to an ammonia-free wrinkle-resistant treatment, the fabrics gain in softness and durability while ensuring easy care. As for the finishing touches, The Nines remains true to its standards of excellence: English seams with 7 stitches per centimeter, reinforcement gussets, and buttons in vegetable resin sewn in a cross pattern, guarantees of strength and durability.
THE BLAZER
Inspired by the maritime tradition and paying homage to the Royal Navy, the double-breasted navy blazer has been designed as a statement piece, created to elevate any outfit. Its tailored fit, gold buttons, and Neapolitan shoulders bring a touch of casual sophistication. Versatile, the double-breasted blazer pairs easily with jeans and a t-shirt for a relaxed urban look, chinos and a turtleneck for a more casual style, or pleated chinos and a shirt for a more formal appearance.
THE WAISTCOAT
For retro-chic enthusiasts, the wool-blend waistcoat is a must-have. Its textured appearance gives it character, while the organic cotton back breaks away from the overly formal feel of traditional waistcoats. The result: a piece that is both chic and easy to pair for sophisticated and elegant outfits. Finally, the martingale adjustment strap allows for a custom fit, offering optimal comfort and an effortlessly refined style.
