The lyocell shirt : when elegance equals eco-friendly
LYOCELL: SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD
Having appeared for the first time in 1998 in Great Britain, lyocell, an innovative fabric, has plenty of great days ahead of itself! Produced from wood pulp most often originating from eucalyptus trees, it is dissolved in a non-toxic solvent and not treated with any chemical substances.
Lyocell has the advantage of being synonymous with a more ecological future. In addition to being completely biodegradable, it allows us to take a stance against deforestation and reduce water consumption. In fact, it takes only half an acre of eucalyptus forest to produce one tonne of fabric. Eucalyptus also requires very little water and does not need to be sprayed. Finally, lyocell has a European ecological Oeko Tex 100 label.
LYOCELL: SAVIOUR OF YOUR AUGUST
In this time of heat waves, lyocell has what it takes to satisfy you! There's nothing better for taking full advantage of the summer than a breathable fabric that adapts to your body temperature and absorbs more moisture than cotton or linen.
If you're spending August in the city, don't worry: lyocell filters bacteria and pollutants. If your idea of a holiday is synonymous with doing nothing and avoiding chores, have no fear: lyocell is machine washable in 40° water and doesn't need ironing! Finally, if your holidays consist of adventure this year, this highly resistant fabric will let you go anywhere!
LYOCELL: VERY EASY-TO-WEAR
Thanks to its hint of softness and high fluidity, the lyocell shirt is an absolute pleasure to wear. Perfect for the summer, our blue shirt is made in small European workshops and allows you to combine casual wear with elegance, even when on holiday.
Worn more casually during the day, the inverted collar shirt, which can be changed into a cutaway collar shirt, can also be worn open or under a blazer for a more stylish look during the evening. In all cases, this shirt is sure to delight!
