Your cufflinks express what your outfit does not say !

5 November 2015

At a time when industrialisation and standardisation are rampant, taking over our lives a little more each day, our margin of freedom seems limited. Indeed, we all have a car, a telephone, socks, a suit ... manufactured in large-scale production-runs. With all of us wearing the same clothes, we are going to end up all thinking the same way too. How, then, can we express our uniqueness, our difference, and what is even more, how can we communicate it?

to distinguish oneself

1- Smiley City. 2- Still Wright (I'm the boss, i'm never wrong). 3- Mood Mechanical (Available, loyal). 4- Spitfire Gunmetal.

Although the elements of our everyday life are standard items, their possible combinations are endless! Modularity is one of the ways to achieve freedom of expression. Changing your cufflinks every day helps to define and express your unique and individual personality, your interests (aviation cufflinks) and even your mood states (smiley cufflinks), or even your status (the 'I am the Boss' cufflinks) or your intentions (Kamasutra cufflinks)! So to wear cufflinks is no longer incidental, but essential. René Barjavel's famous sentence makes complete sense:

"The unnecessary and superfluous things are more essential to man than the necessary ones."
