Sock FAQ

What are the softest socks?

The Scottish yarn socks are the softest on the market and also among the thinnest. Their cotton, sourced from Egypt, gives them this silky appearance. The traditional craftsmanship of the Italian workshops where they are made also contributes to their uniquely luxurious finish.

What socks should I wear with shorts?

The go-to socks for wearing with shorts are usually low socks (or sockets). But if you want to go sporty or give a preppy touch to your day, opt for colorful high socks. Avoid matching the outfit too formally, as the length of the shorts highlights the socks, so feel free to be bold. Special mention to linen socks, which are quite comfortable in summer!

What socks should I wear with a suit?

With a suit, sock choices should remain formal. We recommend either wearing socks that match your suit or socks that match your shoes. If the occasion is casual or if you're at a wedding, you can still make them stand out by choosing a bright color that contrasts nicely with a navy suit, for example.

What socks should I wear with chinos?

For chinos, which are much less formal than a suit, you can mismatch your socks to accentuate the casual tone set by the chinos. So if your chinos are light, confidently go for classic navy blue or black. If your chinos are navy blue or a dark color, then wear a pair of bright-colored socks.

How to wear colorful socks?

Colorful socks should be worn sparingly, as it's easy to make a fashion mistake. The simplest way to wear colorful socks is with dark bottoms, such as pants or jeans. Think, for example, of a navy suit with a pop of color at the ankles for a more striking effect.
