In this year 2021, we revisit this atypical and original dress code, like the members of the Peaky Blinders and English aristocrats with a modern twist and a fresh eye. The very charismatic British style reveals itself mysterious, like the men who used to wear such shirts. Adjust your caps and newsboy hats, put away your pocket watches and dive with us into a not-so-distant era.
100 years apart
Between the 1920s and 2020, many styles have come and gone, but only a few have managed to maintain a timeless allure: if fashion is cyclical, this timeless look is the perfect counter-example! Nothing has changed, or almost: shirt fabric is much more comfortable but nevertheless retains a raw aspect so sought after by the most nostalgic. Our five editions will allow you in turn to reappropriate the codes of 1920s elegance. A stylistic influence that everyone agrees on - or risk having some problems with members of a certain club…

When winter comes, maintaining a modern gentleman's style will be child's play thanks to a simple wool suit, solid or with houndstooth patterns... or a winter coat, preferably long, in tweed with a pointed collar to accentuate the effect of an elaborate look. The most daring can choose a three-piece suit consisting of a jacket, waistcoat, and trousers. In summer, you can swap your belt for a pair of elastic suspenders, to awaken the old but fascinating side of this underestimated accessory.
Authentic fabrics from the Italian house Albiate 1830
Our five models are made from 100% cotton fabrics from Albiate 1830. It's one of the finest references in casual and relaxed style shirts. Pioneer in the innovation of high-end casual-chic materials, our retro-chic shirts have a natural finish and a grain of character. What differentiates them from our usual shirts is their authentic appearance obtained through unique cotton work and weaving. They are then finely textured, raw and less smooth for a finish reminiscent of 1920s fabrics: rustic and sophisticated.

The white round collar shirt with metal collar button
The white round collar shirt is the emblem of early 1900s elegance. It remains a truly essential piece for outfits worn during that period. Refinement obliges, our attention to detail led us to choose a metallic collar closure button. Thus, this subtle element allows you to wear your shirt without a tie but always with a little twist of finesse!
The sky blue contrasted officer collar shirt
In the 1920s, shirt collars and cuffs were sold separately, as standalone detachable pieces. The reason? At the time, washing clothes was expensive and these attachments got dirty quickly. That's why collars and cuffs were often in a color contrasting with the shirt fabric. We've preserved this spirit by adding a casual contrasted officer collar to our sky blue shirt. It's even said to be highly appreciated by a certain Thomas Shelby…
The spread collar shirt with fine white and red stripes
Of the five models we imagined, this is undoubtedly the shirt with the most casual style. Its modern collar revisited and popularized in the 2000s dresses an untreated cotton canvas with a natural and textured finish with fine stripes. Without a placket, this shirt is worn without neck accessories but can perfectly be complemented with a pair of elastic suspenders in the same shade. We wanted to add some red here to contrast with the gray and rainy weather that the British are accustomed to.
The French collar white shirt with blue stripes
We rethink established codes between timelessness and elegance with colors found particularly between the 1920s and 1940s. The white shirt is gradually replaced by more colorful shirts, moving away from the classic image of the white shirt. Back to the roaring twenties, this time with a touch of refinement inspired by Gatsby the Magnificent, the charismatic character of writer F. Scott Fitzgerald.
The sky blue round collar shirt
The slightly heathered and raw appearance of this traditional sky blue canvas brings a touch of color to a sober and monochrome outfit. This characteristic collar is called a round collar or "club collar": it has the particularity of being rounded at its ends. Born in the 1800s, it embodies English elegance of the dandy chic look par excellence.

Since 2016, we have entrusted our projects to this workshop with impeccable know-how certified ISO 9001 and OEKO-TEX SteP, passed down from generation to generation for nearly a century.

As with our other shirts, you'll find all the characteristics of a quality shirt including:
- English seams with 7 stitches per centimeter that provide elegance and resistance,
- reinforcement gussets on the side seams,
- stainless steel collar stays supporting the collar points,
- genuine mother-of-pearl buttons - or metal - sewn in a cross pattern.
- the last horizontal buttonhole that prevents unwanted openings.

Our shirts are made to bring elegance to all your formal or casual outfits. This is reflected in our modern cuts: from the regular model our shirts are fitted and close to the body.
