The Nines during the pandemic

Covid-19 The Nines during the pandemic

The fight against Covid-19 and its further spread is everybody's business. More than a week ago, in accordance with French government regulations, we took all the necessary measures to protect the health of everyone: our customers and our teams.

UPDATE THE NINES

DELIVERY SERVICE ACTIF

Our online shop remains open.

Our three boutiques in Paris have been closed for over a week now, until further notice, and we were unfortunately forced to put some of our staff on short-time work. A part of our team has been working from home since the beginning of the curfew imposed in France and has meanwhile got used to the new rhythm. In our warehouse in Bordeaux the days are quiet and the absences and precautions create an unusual atmosphere in our otherwise busy and cheerful office. Our online shop remains open and your orders can be delivered as usual. Our transport partners, La Poste and DHL, keep us informed on a daily basis and have confirmed they are able to maintain shipping and delivery.

OUR MODEST CONTRIBUTION

.

To contribute to the fight against the coronavirus, we contacted our shirt manufacturer and asked to make breathing masks out of the leftover fabric of our shirts. Although these masks undoubtedly do not have the technical characteristics necessary to completely prevent the spread of the virus, they can still play a small role in protecting against Covid-19.

Fabric masks to prevent infection from Covid-19:

1) Prevent inhalation of potentially contaminated droplets.

2) Avoid touching ones mouth or nose.

3) For infected people they provide some degree of protection against transmission to others.

4) Environmentally friendly: made from leftover fabric from our shirts, the masks are washable and reusable.

.

HELP US GET THROUGH THIS TIME

By ordering online. This exceptional situation is delicate for us, as a small company, as well as for our partner ateliers. As you know, the majority of our clothes and accessories are produced by family-run artisan workshops in Italy, whose future has never been so uncertain.

Our return period has been extended to 60 days.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTERWARDS?

The-Nines-Covid-Stay-Home
We share the conviction that this "health war" will lead to profound changes and that once the virus is defeated, there will be no easy return to the way it was before.

This reinforces our decision to offer you more and more sustainable clothing and to work and support local manufacturers. We have also been thinking for some time now about a new model for designing our collections that is better adapted to your needs and contributes to reshape the textile industry.

But this is a topic for "afterwards". For now, everyone should follow the necessary measures to stop the spread of the virus and show exemplary solidarity together: This starts with simply staying at home! By respecting the local curfew or restrictions, we are helping to put an end to this health crisis.

Take care of yourself! #STAYSAFE #STAYHOME
