All our solid silver cufflinks are made of 925 silver. This means they are composed of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper — more specifically electrolytic copper (containing oxygen). This quality is marked by a "S925" hallmark, which certifies a first-choice, ideal quality, as with a higher silver content (for example: 950 silver), the piece tarnishes and deteriorates more quickly.

Rhodium, for enhanced brilliance and durability

Furthermore, they are all fully rhodium-plated (covered with a thin layer of rhodium by electrolysis), which makes them shinier and helps them stay that way for longer. Rhodium is a very rare precious metal used in high-quality jewelry and therefore exclusively on 925 silver.
