In ancient times, silver was used to mint coins. Today, it is considered one of the most precious materials.

All our solid silver cufflinks are made of 925 silver. This means they are composed of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. More specifically, electrolytic copper (containing oxygen). This quality is marked by an "S925" hallmark, which certifies a top-quality grade that is ideal because with a higher silver content (example: 950 silver), the jewelry tarnishes and deteriorates more quickly.

Rhodium, for better shine and durability

Furthermore, they are all entirely rhodium-plated (covered with a thin layer of rhodium by electrolysis) which allows them to be more brilliant and remain so for much longer. Rhodium is a very rare precious metal used for superior quality jewelry and therefore only on 925 silver.
