Cold, wet, grey - autumn is here! If you're not careful, you'll catch the first cold of the season. Maybe because you're still clinging too much to the summer and going out with little socks and without a jacket or scarf. However, the cold and the shorter days also bring a good thing: the possibility of wrapping yourself in beautiful fabrics that are more or less reserved for winter and bring comfort, flexibility and warmth! But now back to our sheep. These wonderful characteristics can be found in these sheep, goats and even trees! Huh?
Merino wool, cashmere and viscose are the focus of our winter accessories collection: caps, scarves and socks become your best friends to defy the cold with all elegance! But to be on the safe side, don't forget your handkerchiefs.

NATURAL? SOFT? WARM? - THE BEST MATERIAL FOR WINTER

THE WARMEST - MERINO WOOL

Whether summer heat or icy cold, Merino sheep adapt their fur to the seasons. That's why their wool is truly certified by nature and not by any laboratory! The extremely fine fibres of merino wool are three times finer than those of other sheep, making it a real cold shield in winter. Insulating and comfortable on the skin, this wool also regulates temperature and wicks away moisture. For this reason it is particularly popular for winter clothing and accessories!

THE SOFTEST - CASHMERE

The cashmere goat, which is also called Tibet goat due to its geographical origin, prefers to graze on highland meadows just like the merino sheep. The cashmere goat is mainly found in Asia and especially in Inner Mongolia. In order to survive the hard winters there, the cashmere goat doubles its fur with dense, long hair. In spring, they are traditionally brushed out and then processed into unusually soft clothing and accessories, which have enjoyed great popularity in Europe since the beginning of the 19th century!

THE MOST ECOLOGICAL - VISCOSE

Obtained from wood cellulose, viscose is an artificial material of natural origin. Also, called "vegetable silk" because it is similar to the last one - resistant, soft, very comfortable to wear - this fibre absorbs colours well and gives them a silky shine. Since viscose is obtained by chemical treatment of cellulose, a process developed in 1884 by the French Count Hilaire de Chardonnet, this material is a bit controversial because it is not ecological if environmental or social standards are not respected!
