For this season, The Nines and Alex Cormac team up once again to offer you flannel suits with chalk stripes, also called "pinstripe suit". Initially popularized by the bankers of the City of London, these stripes were a sign of respectability and distinction in the business world. The style then crosses the Atlantic to Wall Street until it was championed by some iconic figures like Al Capone with a chic gangster style. It's the signature suit of many icons like Serge Gainsbourg, Alain Delon, Clark Gable, it conveys seriousness, style and self-confidence.
The cuts are inspired by classic codes, combining structure and fluidity for a bold silhouette. Every detail, from the lapel to the trouser crease, conveys an elegant and refined style, ideal for autumn and winter.
The 270 g/m² flannel fabric, 100% virgin wool, comes from the famous Italian mill Vitale Barberis Canonico: it will be your ally during mid-season, providing warmth, comfort and impeccable fit. The finishes, executed with the greatest care, testify to The Nines' craftsmanship: solid seams and precise linings for suits that stand the test of time.
