For this season, The Nines and Alex Cormac join forces once again to offer you chalk-stripe flannel suits, also known as the "pinstripe suit". Originally popularized by City of London bankers, these stripes were a mark of respectability and distinction in the business world. The style then crossed the Atlantic to Wall Street before being championed by a few iconic figures such as Al Capone with a gangster-chic style. It is the signature suit of many icons such as Serge Gainsbourg, Alain Delon, and Clark Gable, and it conveys seriousness, style, and self-confidence.
The cuts draw inspiration from classic codes, combining structure and fluidity for a confident silhouette. Every detail, from the lapel to the trouser crease, reflects an elegant and refined style, ideal for autumn and winter.
The 270 g/m² flannel fabric, 100% virgin wool, comes from the renowned Italian mill Vitale Barberis Canonico: it will be your ally during the mid-season, providing warmth, comfort, and impeccable hold.
