For this season, The Nines and Alex Cormac join forces once again to offer you chalk-stripe flannel suits, also known as "pinstripe suit". Initially popularized by City of London bankers, these stripes were a sign of respectability and distinction in the business world. The style then crossed the Atlantic to Wall Street, before being championed by a few iconic figures such as Al Capone with his gangster chic style. It is the signature suit of many icons such as Serge Gainsbourg, Alain Delon, and Clark Gable — it exudes seriousness, style, and self-confidence.
The cuts draw inspiration from classic codes, combining structure and fluidity for an assured silhouette. Every detail, from the lapel to the trouser crease, reflects an elegant and refined style, ideal for autumn and winter.
The 270 g/m² flannel fabric, 100% virgin wool, comes from the renowned Italian mill Vitale Barberis Canonico: it will be your ally during the mid-season, providing warmth, comfort, and impeccable hold. The finishes, crafted with the greatest care, reflect The Nines' know-how: solid seams and precise linings for suits that stand the test of time.
