For this season, The Nines and Alex Cormac join forces once again to offer you chalk stripe flannel suits, also known as "pinstripe suits". Initially popularized by bankers in the City of London, these stripes were a sign of respectability and distinction in the business world. The style then crossed the Atlantic to Wall Street, becoming favored by iconic figures like Al Capone with a chic gangster style. It's the signature suit of many icons such as Serge Gainsbourg, Alain Delon, Clark Gable, and it conveys seriousness, style and self-confidence.
The cuts draw inspiration from classic codes, combining structure and fluidity for a confident silhouette. Every detail, from the lapel to the trouser crease, reflects an elegant and refined style, ideal for fall and winter.
The 270 g/m² flannel fabric, 100% virgin wool, comes from the renowned Italian mill Vitale Barberis Canonico: it will be your ally during the mid-season, providing warmth, comfort and impeccable hold.
