Indeed, mercerizing gives cotton an intense and long-lasting depth of color. In addition, this treatment ensures the cotton yarns have a particularly high durability. And for even more comfort and finesse, our sockmaker knits our cotton lisle socks on a traditional circular knitting machine with 240 needles. That's about 40 needles more than common sock knitting machines, which is why these cotton lisle socks are especially fine.

Attention: Lisle socks do not contain elastane and therefore look much bigger than other socks. In addition, our socks are ironed, which stretches the fibres and adds to the visual effect. This impression disappears after the first wash when the fibres contract. If in doubt, choose one size smaller!
