The multifunctional layering piece

An overshirt for 1000 uses

Elegant, practical, comfortable… Season after season, the overshirt continues to reinvent itself for our greatest pleasure. Thanks to its relaxed cut, our linen and cotton overshirt can be worn just as well as a jacket on warm summer evenings as a layering piece under a coat during the cooler months.

Worn open or buttoned, over a simple t-shirt or a refined shirt, the elegant and relaxed simplicity of the overshirt offers unlimited outfit possibilities. It is a garment that accompanies you day and night and lives with you: from the professional meeting to the after-work and from the family dinner to the evening with friends.

Fresh new colors

New collection = new colors. This year 2024, we have gone for increasingly natural and refreshing shades that feel like summer. From khaki green to mineral blue via eucalyptus green, our new linen and cotton overshirts promise a gentle, sun-filled summer (at least, we hope!).

Another small change: this year the overshirt sheds its side pockets for a cleaner look. But for those who are attached to them, we have planned ahead. Our spring/summer 2024 work jackets are available right here!

Unrivalled expertise

You don't change a winning team. For several years now, we have enjoyed collaborating with the Spanish weaver Santanderina. Our overshirts from last summer, as well as our current work jackets and some of our chinos have benefited from the traditional expertise of this century-old workshop. A relationship we enjoy nurturing because beyond the quality of its fabrics, we share with them the conviction of a responsible textile industry.

The winning linen/cotton combo

Cotton forms the base of our overshirt (84%), while linen makes up the remaining 16%. Absorbent, hypoallergenic, antibacterial, resistant, lightweight, airy… The list goes on. The overshirt is made from two natural materials with numerous complementary properties, forming a powerhouse duo for the summer season. As for the overall look, linen gives the overshirt a lightweight yet fluid texture that is perfectly showcased in summer outfits.

A unique vintage patina

Like all our summer overshirts, our work jacket benefits from a garment-dyed fabric or garment dye. This means that the finished overshirt is dipped directly into special vats filled with a mixture of natural pigments. As a result, the color cannot be controlled 100% and prints differently on the seams or pocket edges. It is this technique that gives your outfit a great deal of character and the slightly vintage look we love so much.
