Elegance ventures off the beaten path… in Armorica!

When classic codes meet the rawness of autumn, the result is a bold, unapologetic elegance. With this new capsule, The Nines and Alex Cormac head west with a sharp vision of modern sartorialism. An air that smells of the open sea, pieces that command presence, and that perfectly mastered blend of rigour and nonchalance.

The Nines x Alex Cormac

Each piece in this Alex Cormac x The Nines capsule embodies that balance between rigour and freedom. Details inspired by vintage wardrobe staples punctuate modern silhouettes, for an assured style that exudes as much boldness as elegance.

The autumn-winter double-breasted blazer

Heir to British sartorial codes, the double-breasted tartan blazer asserts itself as a centrepiece, designed to bring character and distinction to any outfit. The Blackwatch tartan, recognisable by its deep navy and forest green checks, has its roots in 18th-century Scottish military history, before being adopted by the British aristocracy as a symbol of elegance.

Slim fit, flying front placket construction, soft shoulders and double-breasted fastening echo the structured silhouette of 1930s naval blazers. The fabric comes from the Italian house Lanificio Campore, a guarantee of suppleness and impeccable hold, perpetuating a traditional textile know-how.

Versatile, this blazer pairs easily with jeans and a jumper for an urban look, or can be worn with a grey or navy suit for a more formal style. Half-lined, it combines lightness and freedom of movement, making it the ideal ally of the modern gentleman.
