A rare, durable and supple leather

Deerskin leather

In glove-making, cow leather, calfskin, or even lamb leather - finer than the previous two - are mainly used to make a pair of dress gloves. A still relatively unknown leather is deerskin! Due to its limited quantity, it is almost exclusively worked by luxury houses - and, for several years now, by us as well!

Deerskin leather is very durable, yet it's one of the most supple, making it ideal for glove manufacturing: it offers great freedom of movement and shows few creases. Its natural grain and matte color give deerskin leather a beautiful appearance that persists over time.

From king of the forest to king of leather

Full-grain leather

An animal skin becomes leather after the tanning process. Basically, the perishable product, the skin, is transformed through a vegetable or mineral process into a non-perishable product, that is, leather. The leather can then be cut into three layers depending on its final use.

The lower layer, the flesh side, is the leather split. Easier to maintain and less expensive, it is generally used for upholstery or low-end items. The outer part of the animal's epidermis, where the hair is implanted, is called the grain. It can be corrected or maintain its natural and unique beauty. This is called full-grain leather. Dense and resistant, it is also the softest leather and our choice for all our leather gloves.

A cocoon of softness

The cashmere lining

In glove-making, the lining provides additional comfort and warmth to your hands to face the cold winter well. And exceptional leather calls for exceptional wool! From there, choosing cashmere is just one step away... or rather 11,673,501 steps, since the main production country for this prized wool is China.

Obtained from goats of the same name, cashmere is characterized by exceptional softness. Thermoregulating, cashmere keeps you warm while wicking away moisture. And unlike other wools, cashmere doesn't itch! It's therefore the ideal material for the most sensitive skin.

Italian-made tactile leather gloves

Traditional Neapolitan craftsmanship

10 manufacturing steps in 2 hours per pair

Italy is a special country, and not just because of its boot shape. Much more than in France, craftsmanship is still very present there. This is what makes Made in Italy renowned, especially in fashion. The secret behind the preservation of Italian craftsmanship is certainly regional specialization and the generational transmission of traditional expertise.

This all happens in small family workshops: the wool is knitted in Biella and the leather is worked in Naples. The maestri of our Neapolitan glove-making have been crafting leather for several decades and 4 generations already. Everything is done by hand: from leather selection to stretching, and from cutting to adding the lining. The process includes about ten steps and takes no less than 2 hours to make a single pair of gloves!

Details that make the difference

The tactile gloves follow the same rule as our other leather gloves when it comes to attention to detail, whether visual or comfort-related:

- Three stitched nervures on the back of the hand

- Double elastic wrists with colored trim

- A cashmere lining in colors that harmoniously contrast with the leather shade

Fits like a glove

Traditionally crafted, our tactile gloves benefit from all the advantages that leather provides - durability, flexibility, comfort - combined with a high-performance and innovative coating that allows you to use your touchscreen devices without removing your gloves.

Leather is a natural material that stretches slightly over time to perfectly fit your hand. The gloves will mold to the shape of your hands for unmatched comfort and freedom of movement.

We offer 6 glove sizes ranging from 7.5 to 10. To know your size and learn how to take your measurements properly, consult the glove size guide.
