Nubuck is a type of suede leather, distinguished by the fact that its surface has been sanded or scraped with very fine sandpaper. This is what produces a very soft touch effect and gives a velvet-like surface.

The manufacturing process specific to the nubuck belt gives it an appearance that differs greatly from the suede belt. Only the external surface of the leather is affected by the treatment, this therefore causes the appearance of a carpet of very fine hairs under which the leather grain often remains recognizable. This treatment allows better resistance, increases the breathing capacity of the material and preserves all the fineness of its grain.
