S925 Silver, perfect for exceptional cufflinks
In antiquity, silver was used to mint coins. Today, it is considered one of the most precious materials.
All our sterling silver cufflinks are made of 925 silver. This means they are composed of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. More specifically, electrolytic copper (containing oxygen). This quality is marked with an "S925" hallmark, which certifies premium quality and is ideal because with a higher silver content (example: 950 silver), the jewelry tarnishes and deteriorates more quickly.
Rhodium, for better brilliance and durability
Moreover, they are all fully rhodium-plated (covered with a thin layer of rhodium through electrolysis) which allows them to be more brilliant and stay that way even longer. Rhodium is a very rare precious metal used for high-quality jewelry and therefore only on 925 silver.
