We can't talk about summer's breathable materials without mentioning linen! Mixed with cotton or used in a fabric entirely composed of this eco-responsible fiber, linen brings a note of relaxation appreciated in a casual chic shirt. Its thermoregulating properties are a major asset when the thermometer rises. Linen also allows for easier care thanks to its flexible fibers that don't wrinkle too much.
Cotton
Appreciated for its softness and absorbent properties, cotton is the number 1 material when making a shirt, especially if it must be adapted to the summer season. Giza 87 is a particularly precious variety of cotton, grown in the ideal climatic conditions of the Nile Delta region. The fibers of this exceptional cotton are longer than average, measuring about 35 mm, and offer better strength. In addition to being a very soft and precious material, Giza 87 brings unequaled brilliance and luminosity to the fabric.

From our experience, cotton and linen make a happy marriage. While cotton brings a particular softness to the shirt, linen adds a touch of relaxation and freshness. The balance between these two natural materials is achieved through a subtle blend of 55% linen and 45% cotton. The other advantage of linen fibers is that they help preserve the shape of this white reverse collar shirt after washing. The absence of visible buttons on the front is called "hidden placket": this particularity allows to reveal its refined casual chic side, which will be suitable to bring out the tanned complexion of summer vacations.
