For fall/winter 2026, The Nines and Alex Cormac continue their collaboration with Aquilon. Inspired by the cold north wind that gives it its name, the collection envisions a warmer, more textured wardrobe.

Three-piece suits, Gurkha trousers, ribbed knits, and shirts with distinctive collars create a look shaped by British, military, and workwear influences. Tweeds, Shetland wools, and substantial fabrics add texture, while the cuts and details draw on sometimes-forgotten elements of menswear. It’s a way to bring them up to date without losing their essence.

Inspired by shirts found in British men’s wardrobes in the 1930s, this shirt features a club collar, a detail far less common today than traditional collars. Paired with stripes, it gives the shirt a distinctive look without making it hard to wear.

The club collar also works beautifully with a tie. To avoid too many competing patterns, a solid tie or one with a small pattern lets the collar and stripes take center stage. It’s a way to bring a detail from vintage menswear into a shirt designed to be worn today.
