You're probably wondering how to enjoy the easy care of a so-called wrinkle-free shirt without losing the look and comfort of cotton?
Here are the two treatment steps for a naturally wrinkle-free shirt:
1. Cotton mercerization (ammonia-free)
The fabrics are first bathed for short periods in a non-chemical solution at very low temperature. Once rinsed, the solution is completely eliminated. Mercerization thus improves cotton's resistance, its shine and dye retention to increase the fabric's lifespan.
2. Application of natural resin
To preserve the natural beauty of cotton and its wrinkle resistance, the application of a natural resin tightens the cotton threads together, giving them a smoother appearance. And for finishing: cold or hot calendering, application of care products or ironing to maintain anti-wrinkle quality. Result: your shirt dries faster, wrinkles less and has a longer lifespan. You're happy, and so is the environment!
